Page 6 Nearing Completion

I never guessed it would be this hard to do pro-bono work, Nearly two months behind my personal set schedule, and am now in the final stretches with this page, Thank you all for your continued patience. It has been difficult to make time for this project the last few months as I have been dealing with a lot in my personal life, in addition to finishing up a series of nine paintings for my senior exhibition, after October, when that series is finished, given that no one else dear to me dies and nothing else goes  terribly, horribly, wrong, I am hoping to be able to come at this book with some renewed vigor. Again many thanks for all of the encouragement on this project. It means a great deal to me.

Page 6 WIP 3

Getting close on page 6, Not moving nearly as fast as i had hoped, but I am having to re-invent the look and feel of pages1-5 without a print press so, all things considered, at least I'm learning a lot. This first all digital page starting to come together. Just getting the kinks worked out with lighting and the leaf boat. Should be done this week sometime!

page 6 wip 2

Getting the Owl-Bear dialed in. I felt the need for some terminal revisions. A moderate setback but I feel much better moving forward with this composition.  I just really, really, really wanted to get the focal point laid in before I went any further with the rest of the image. So onward and upward. I will hopefully be able to post the WIPs of pages 7 8 and 9 early next week. I'm going to begin batch rendering them so that I can stand a chance of finishing this wonderful project before the end of August.

At long last- Page 6 WIP

Sorry to everyone for the long break in posting. Been dealing with a lot of stressful things and lost some really dear people. That said, Here is page 6 of Zuddiger's picnic, from here on out it's all going to be digital, hoping I can move quicker, the goal is to get to page 16 by summers end so that my layout specialist can set it into pages including the text and the map. I know many of you who frequent this site have been doing so in hopes of finding this post. So I won't keep you from it any longer. Here is the first phase of page 6, it's rough, but every beginning is.

A Series of Unfortunate Events

Dear Followers,

For those of you who are still checking my blog, I am very sorry for the long space in posting, I have had an epic string of unfortunate events, and some really miraculous turnarounds in the last month. I have been sicker than I ever thought possible, moved into and out of a nearly condemned apartment and find myself currently piecing my life back together one piece at a time. (That's the short list.) For those Diehard Zuddiger fans I must apologize one more time, due to the outstanding number of impacting life events within the last few months, I am going to have to hold off on production till I am clear of my final semester of art school, that is not to say no progress will be made, it is to say progress on Zuddiger's adventures will be much slower than intended. I consider being able to post this apology a huge leap in progress as I haven't even had the internet with which to do so till now.

Thank you to all of those who continue to subscribe,

Anthony Ian
